INTEGRATED MARKETING SERVICES
About the Big Pond
Lisa Rigsby built and led Big Pond Marketing, a full-service boutique marketing agency for a decade before continuing on as an integrated marketing consultant, retaining the name of her agency. Career experience on both sides of the agency-client relationship, a background in international business, and work with early-stage ventures give her a unique ability to understand — and solve — clients’ business challenges.
As a freelancer, she steps nimbly into MARCOM teams, works solo, and assembles ad hoc project teams as needed. She manages vendor and partner relationships with integrity, in the best interest of a client. Regardless of the size and scope of work, Lisa applies the same principles to every project; effective listening, informed recommendations, a solutions-not-problems ethos, and making the best use of resources to achieve results.

CLIENT FEEDBACK
“Strategizing, creative brainstorming, always solution-focused…I count on this Lisa to help us stay competitive. She proposes promotions and ideas with the market data to back it up. And, always hears me out and gives thoughtful feedback.” Kelly Cirafice, Essentially Bare Cosmetic
The content marketing campaign developed and executed by Lisa Rigsby helped my company, Teak Media + Communication’s, reach thousands of qualified potential clients. In a year-long campaign, Lisa wrote content, designed graphics, created a number of downloadable guides, advanced our website’s SEO, improved our social media presence, created the best technological solutions for our unique needs, and taught my team about the process all along the way. She managed the smallest details, like list creation, as well as overarching issues, including following trends that were important to my company and its work in sustainable business. She helped our company host a number of webinars and a live event, she edited video, and she helped us promote all of our work through multiple channels. Lisa truly went the extra mile (again and again) to serve and to provide value to my company. I highly recommend Lisa Rigsby as a wise, thoughtful, and talented content marketing guru and overall marketing resource for businesses and teams.
Lisa was an asset to our team at a critical point in our lifecycle. She dug into the market head first, helped us develop a plan and executed. She’s strategic, thoughtful, creative, has outstanding insights into the value and importance of meaningful content for quality lead generation and, above all else, she delivers.
The branding and messaging for the Cultural Agility Leadership Lab (CALL) was complicated because we were combining the strength of two highly-recognized organizations to appeal to a Fortune 500 audience and, while our value-proposition is very clear to us, we needed to launch with a brand that could convey that immediately to everyone else. Lisa really understood this and brought us there in all marketing touchpoints, without having a CALL team in place readily available for support or direction.
“Over the years, Lisa has helped us stay ahead of the curve when many of our national competitors disappeared and local market forces have driven down price points for the services we offer. Her creative ideas and consistency in promoting our brand values keep us competitive in attracting new clients and retaining them. Lisa is truly invested in our success and keeping our brand authentic. ”
“I’ve had the privilege of working with Lisa while she managed international products at The Learning Company where she was based out of Dublin over a decade ago, and at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt when she assumed the role of Senior Director of Creative Services.
While building the division within HMH, Lisa assumed a leadership role in the strategy and execution of hiring critical resources, mapping our creative services plan across products and services and effectively building and managing our website. In meeting critical deadlines, Lisa was often the “go-to” manager to get things done on time and on budget. Sensitive to costs, Lisa provided much of her own hands on creative direction, often rolling up her sleeves to successfully construct critical art and design assets for products and services.
Lisa provided valuable people skills in maintaining high motivation within her group, effectively delegating responsibilities and maintaining performance metrics that collectively met and exceeded divisional expectations. It was apparent that over the years that Lisa created and maintained productive relationships with a valuable vendor network that contributed to her success.
When I began building the senior team at HMH, I searched for managers that I had success with in the past. Lisa is a bright, creative and an articulate manager and leader – an asset to any organization. ”
We had the pleasure of working with Lisa Rigsby during our first year of operations before we had in-house capabilities. She provided overall marketing and website guidance and was sensitive to our limited budget. She was resourceful and helpful in problem solving – especially when our outside developer designed a complicated website that required specialized expertise. She was professional, responded in a timely fashion and kept her sense of humor despite intensive time pressures.
